Parish Pastoral Council

Owner: Administrator

Group members: 1

The Pastoral Council is to promote the spiritual growth of the parish community and to plan ways for the parish to carry out the mission of the Church.  It represents the interests and pastoral needs of the entire parish.  While the majority of its twelve members are elected by their fellow parishioners, the parish priest may appoint others as he sees fit.  The Pastoral Council, which is strictly consultative, has the responsibility to give sound advise to the pastor to assist him in making decisions for the betterment of the entire parish.

The Pastoral Council meets regularly during the year and meetings, unless specified, are open to to attendance by all the members of the parish.  Parishioners may submit their suggestions or concerns in writing to any member of the Council for discussion at the next meeting.
